
ALAIN VINET
In 1978, At the age of 12, he first started DJ-ing regularly at the Local Roller Disco and throughout his teens (80's), plays regular DJ gigs in nearby towns main Discotheques.
In 1992 Alain is Hired by METROPOLIS nightclub in Montreal, then biggest nightclub in Canada. During his 3 years at Metropolis, Alain acquires experience in Live Show Production, and Big DJ Event Production (Squeeeze 1994, Largest House Music event in Mtl at the Time 2700p).
After Squeeeze, Alain gets to DJ at all the best Club Venues and Openings, Including (((STEREO))) in 1998, when he contributed to its concept, design and general groovy atmosphere alongside then studio partner DJ Mark Anthony & long time friend Angel Moraes (STEREO's Original Sound Designer). At (((STEREO))) Alain held a regular DJ residency from 1998 to 2003 called "Mouvement".
Alain also held DJ residencies at such nightclubs as : Circus Afterhours (Mtl), Red Lite Afterhours (Laval), China Club, Jinxi to name but a few.Noticed by Guy Laliberté (Cirque du Soleil Owner) Alain is asked to DJ at Laliberté's Private Galas & Cirque du Soleil World Premiere Galas.
Guy Laliberté and Jean- François Bouchard (CIrque du Soleil Artistic Guides) kindly asks him to join the Cirque du Soleil Family.
In 2005 CDS Musique releases "Mouvement", a MIxed Compilation by Alain VinetFollowing the Release, he Joins Cirque Du Soleil's Music Label and Special Events Teams as Musical Director,
In 2009 Alain co-produces his first Cirque du Soleil Soundtrack, oVo, alongside show composer Berna Ceppas. Following this he has co- produced soundtrack albums for Totem, Amaluna, Kurios, Joya, Toruk,and most recently has Produced the "Paramour Cast Album"In 2016, due to change in management & policies at Cirque du Soleil, it was decided that Alain's position would be abolished.
But he remains an "Expert music consultant"Since then Alain is working on Remixes for upcoming Artists albums that you should see appear very soon in 2017.
